MobiPorter announces the creation of a new shared product division, BOT

New Delhi, 24th May 2008

Mobiporter marks another significant landmark in its evolution, as it launches its new division, BOT.   Speaking at the launch, Dheeraj Jain, President, had this to say.  "As we listened to our customers, the need for this division became more and more apparent.   Customer referenceability is one of our core principles, and upto now, all of our clients have been ecstatic with our solutions and our execution.   As an extension, they started enquiring about additional solutions from us, on a shared ownership basis, some of which were not with a mobile flavor.   Although, we had clarified our strategic focus, they were adamant that we work with them.  The ensuing discussions led to the need for creating a new division within our organization; BOT."

BOT will initially focus on software product development ideas, which are not primarily mobile or WAP solutions.  Its charter is to take full product & software application development and execution ownership - from concept to completion.  Each of the products will be co-owned between MobiPorter and our partner.   This division will not have a "services" orientation.  Initial focus areas have been identified and we will be initiating our maiden development effort very soon.
